Mr Sandeep Dalvi popularly known as ‘Sandy’ started playing tennis cricket in the year 1980. He played with a team ‘Flaying Star, Aggressive’ and later on joined the professional team ‘Matchlers’ which was then one of the best teams. He put an end to his professional career in the year 2012. His love for the game is such that he still plays a few matches even after ending his career. The left handed bowler had such skills that gave a tough time to the batsmen. Currently with the Mumbai Police (Antop Hill), he still holds many records.

- Bombay junior cricket tournament –Best bowler
- Cosmos shield – Best bowler
In the tournament held at Parle Tilak Ground (Mumbai) he won the Man of the series in 1987 where he was awarded a Kinetic Honda for his outstanding performance ( 4 overs,2 runs,4 wickets)
A few years back, at Narepark Ground, was a match against SPG Team and SPG needed just 2 runs off 6 balls to win, he bowled a maiden over, thus leading his team to victory.
Such was his performance that he is idolized by many bowlers till date.
